Pikkumies is new, and like any agent it gets things wrong, takes a while, or stops. Here is what to do in each case.

It gave a wrong answer

Tell it so in the same conversation, the way you would correct a colleague: "check again, that release is an LTS". It reads its source again and corrects itself. Its answers name where they came from, so you can check them yourself. If it answered without checking anything, ask it to look at your account first.

It did something you did not expect

Say so in the same conversation. It asks before deleting files and before other risky actions, so read its proposals before you say yes. Every session can be resumed with the command it prints at the end.

It is slow

Pikkumies does real work: it runs commands in your account, reads documentation and sometimes checks several things before it answers. A question that needs that takes longer than a quick chat reply. Asking a narrower question ("why is this one torrent stalled?") is faster than a broad one.

It will not start

• "Not starting: no model key yet": there is no key in ~/.virsilipasKey. Copy it from the client area under AI credits, then Virsilipas AI key.
• "The agent runtime is not ready yet": the runtime is still building. Run pikkumies doctor to see how far it is, and try again in a few minutes.
• "Not starting: the terms of service and privacy policy have to be accepted first": run pikkumies in a terminal and accept them when it asks.
• "pikkumies: command not found": open a new SSH session, or run hash -r.

It stopped in the middle

• Your SSH connection dropped. Resume the session with the command it printed, or use pikkumies tmux next time so the session keeps running.
• You ran out of AI credits. Check with pikkumies doctor; see What can I do with AI credits on my seedbox? for how credits are earned.
• "run update" refuses. Updating the agent runtime waits until no other Pikkumies session is open. Close the other session and try again.
