pikkumies doctor checks everything Pikkumies needs and prints one line per part. It changes nothing, so run it whenever something seems off.

The lines that matter most

• key: your AI key, masked, and the file it came from (normally ~/.virsilipasKey). (none) means no key was found.
• provider: reachable when the endpoint answered your key; not reachable (HTTP …) when it did not.
• credits: the AI credits left on your key. Shown only when the provider is reachable.
• model: the model Pikkumies will use.
• hermes: the agent runtime. not installed (building, …) means the first build is still running.
• tools, docs, memory: how many tools are loaded, how many documentation pages are downloaded, and how many lessons and notes it keeps.
• cron ticker: whether the once-a-minute line for scheduled jobs is in your crontab.

Fixing what it finds

• No key, or Pikkumies says "Not starting: no model key yet": log in to the client area, open AI credits, then Virsilipas AI key, and copy the key. Then run nano ~/.virsilipasKey and make the file read:

  endpoint=https://virsilipas.mcx.fi/v1
  key=your-key-here

  Save, and run pikkumies doctor again. Keep the key private: anyone with it can spend your credits.
• provider: not reachable: check that the key in the file is complete, with no spaces, and that your service is active.
• The agent runtime is still building: wait a few minutes and run doctor again.
• cron ticker: not installed yet: run ~/bin/install-pikkumies.sh again; it puts the crontab lines back.
