Pikkumies ships with tools for the work a seedbox actually needs. Ask in plain words; these all work on a Pulsed Media seedbox.
Disk and quota
- "What is eating my quota?" It measures your folders and biggest files and says what you could clean up. It deletes nothing until you approve.
- "How much of my disk quota am I using?" It reads your account's limits and usage. By hand: How do I see my account's limits and usage from SSH?
Torrents
- "Which torrents are stalled, and why?" It lists stalled torrents in rTorrent, qBittorrent or Deluge with what the tracker says about each. See also Stuck/paused torrents.
- "Delete my torrents older than six months, with their data." It shows the list and the space it frees, then asks before anything goes.
- "Find the newest Debian and Ubuntu ISO torrents and seed them." It finds the official torrents on the publishers' own pages and adds them to your client.
Speed and load
- "Why is my download from the seedbox slow?" It checks your account's limits, the server's load and your own transfers, and tells you which one it is, or that it is none of them. See also My seedbox feels slow.
- "Is the route to my home connection OK?" It runs a route test to you and gives you the command for the other direction.
Apps and containers
- "Add this show to Sonarr and start the search." It talks to Sonarr directly; Radarr, Lidarr, Prowlarr and the other *arr apps work the same way.
- "Which of my Prowlarr indexers are failing?" It tests each indexer and lists the errors.
- "How do I set up Jellyfin here?" It starts from the Pulsed Media wiki guide and checks the steps against your account. See Running media apps.
- "My containers vanished." It checks your Docker daemon and containers and tells you what stopped and why. "Run 3 nginx containers." It plans ports, names and mounts first. See Running Docker and custom apps.
Backups and storage
- "Back up my config folder every night." It sets up a restic backup, for example to a Storage Box, on a schedule.
- "Copy this folder to my cloud storage." It works with rclone. See Using rclone with your seedbox.
