AI credits pay for AI requests: questions you send to a language model from a script, a chat app or a coding assistant. Your Pulsed Media services earn them from the service invoices you pay. You do not buy them, and nothing is added to your invoice.
Where to find them
In the client area, open AI credits in the top menu. The Virsilipas AI key page shows your key, the credits you have left, your usage for the last 30 days and your credit history. Virsilipas is the name of the credit service.
What you can use them for
- Pikkumies, Pulsed Media's own open-source AI helper for seedboxes. It lives in your account and does the checks and the work you ask for: what fills your quota, why a torrent stalls, why a container stopped. Install it with
~/bin/install-pikkumies.sh, and see What is Pikkumies? for more. - The AI coding tools on your seedbox. Codex, Claude Code and Gemini CLI start on your credits when your key is on the seedbox.
- Any app, library or script that lets you set an OpenAI-compatible address and an API key.
Do I need a seedbox?
No. Seedboxes, storage boxes and dedicated servers all earn credits, and the key works from any computer: your own PC, another server or your seedbox.
