How do I change my seedbox password?

Your Pulsed Media seedbox uses a single password for everything the web panel, SSH, SFTP and FTP all share the same login. There is no self-service change password button in the panel by design, so password changes are handled by our team.

To change your password

Just ask us either reply to your Seedbox Details welcome email or open a support ticket and request a password reset. We will set a new, strong password on your account and send it to you. For security we dont ask you to send us your chosen password; we generate the new one and deliver it to you.

Prefer not to use a password at all?

You can log in to SSH and SFTP without typing a password by setting up key-based authentication. See Setting up SSH key based authentication for passwordless logins. This is the most secure option and avoids password resets entirely.

If youve forgotten your password and cant reach the panel, opening a ticket from your registered email is the fastest way for us to verify the account and reset it.
