If you have a credit balance on your Pulsed Media account, you can put it toward a new order right at checkout — when your credit covers the amount due, there is no separate payment to make.
Using your credit at checkout
When you place an order and your account has available credit, the order page shows your credit balance and gives you a choice:
- Apply your credit to this order. If your credit covers the total, the order completes with no further payment due.
- Keep your credit and pay with your selected payment method instead.
Choose whichever suits you, agree to the Terms of Service, and complete the order.
Where account credit comes from
Credit can build up on your account in a few ways:
- Overpayments or an accidental double payment — these are returned to your account as credit automatically.
- The Add Funds option in your client area (available once you have an active service).
- A refund we issue as account credit.
- Affiliate commission.
- Promotions and rewards.
- Leftover prepaid value carried over when you upgrade a service.
Good to know
Your account credit stays with your account and is used toward your Pulsed Media services and orders. When a new recurring invoice is generated, any available credit is applied to it automatically, so your credit is put to work without you having to do anything.
Planning to pay ahead? See I want to renew upfront, how can I?
