Can i move a service to another client?

Yes. There are two ways: a transfer key you create yourself, or a ticket from each of you. The transfer key is the quick one.

Option 1 — Transfer key (self-service)

  1. Owner: open the service in your client area and click Create a transfer key in the Transfer row. Enter your account password, tick the confirmation and create the key. Optionally enter the recipient's email: we send them the key with a link to the claim page, and only an account with that email address, verified, can claim it.
  2. The key is shown once. It works once, only for that service, and expires after 30 days. Creating a new key replaces the old one, and you can revoke a key on the same page.
  3. Recipient: log in, open the transfer claim page and enter the Service ID and the key. No account yet? Choose Create an account with the key on that page.
  4. Check the preview (service, billing cycle, next due date, price per cycle), tick the confirmation and claim. If your account uses another currency, the price is converted at the current rate.

A transfer can't go through while the service isn't active or has an unpaid invoice, a cancellation request or addons, or while the recipient's account has an overdue invoice. If the service is paid by an automatic payment we can't stop from our side, cancel it with your payment provider before creating the key; any automatic payment we can stop ends with the transfer. Transfers are rate-limited per account (4 per 7 days, 12 per 30 days) and overall; if a limit is reached, the key stays valid, so try again a few days later.

Option 2 — Tickets

The sender opens a Billing ticket with these four lines:

  • Service ID: S<NNNNN> (from your client area → Services; if it isn't labeled there, see How do I find my Service ID? — or check the "Service ID:" line near the top of your seedbox welcome email, which lists it as #ClientID/#ServiceID)
  • Server: the seedbox hostname (e.g. le4-0-103-192foxtrail.pulsedmedia.com)
  • Target Client ID: #<NNNNN> (the recipient's PM client number — ask them; it appears as Account: #NNNNN on their client-area dashboard when logged in at https://pulsedmedia.com/clients/, and also as the first number in the "Service ID:" line near the top of their seedbox/service welcome email, formatted as #ClientID/#ServiceID)
  • Target Email: the recipient's PM account email

Plus one sentence: "I understand ownership becomes irrevocable."

The recipient logs in at https://pulsedmedia.com/clients/ and opens a Billing ticket from that session, stating: "I accept transfer of S<NNNNN> from CID #<your-CID>." A recipient without an account can create one through Option 1: the sender makes a transfer key and the recipient signs up with it.

We don't process transfers from email alone — that would reveal whether an email belongs to a PM account just by asking. Both fields (Client ID and email) are required so we can verify the pair without revealing existence either way.

After the transfer

Same username, same server, same product, same expiry date — only the owner changes. Any prepaid time stays with the service. The sender's client area login stays with the sender.

New owner: the seedbox logins, SSH keys and WireGuard keys are as the previous owner left them, so they may still have access. Ask for a password reset (see How do I change my seedbox password?), mention WireGuard if you use it, and remove any SSH keys you did not add. The sender can also rotate them before the handover.
