You can point your referral link at almost any page on our website. Add ?aff=YOURNUMBER to the end of that page's address and it becomes your referral link: visitors land on the page you chose rather than the front page, and your commission tracking works exactly the same.
Your affiliate number is in your Client Area under Affiliates.
Sending someone to a specific page
Take the address of the page you want to share and add the parameter to the end:
https://pulsedmedia.com/free-seedbox.php?aff=YOURNUMBER
If the address already contains a ?, use &aff=YOURNUMBER instead.
That is the whole trick. Nearly every page on pulsedmedia.com works this way, including the front page: https://pulsedmedia.com/?aff=YOURNUMBER. If a page you want to use does not seem to pick it up, tell us and we will check that one.
Shortcuts straight into an order form
If you would rather skip the reading and send someone directly to a plan, the classic affiliate link accepts shortcuts:
https://pulsedmedia.com/clients/aff.php?aff=YOURNUMBER&pid=197opens that plan's order form with it already in the cart. The number 197 is only an example: use the number of whichever plan you are recommending.&gid=NUMBERinstead of&pid=opens the store page for a whole category. Category numbers are not published, so ask us which one covers the category you want.®ister=trueopens the signup form, for someone creating an account before they order.
Finding a product number
Every product number is published in our public catalog feed at https://pulsedmedia.com/data/v1/products.json. Find the plan by name and use its id value. The feed needs no account and no key, and it is described in Does Pulsed Media offer public data feeds or an open API?
Tracking works the same wherever they land
The referral is recorded the moment someone opens your link, before they browse anywhere else. It lasts 90 days, so a visitor who looks now and orders in a month is still your referral. How affiliate cookies work covers the mechanics, and Affiliate Program - 10% Account Credit, Paid Out Daily covers what you earn and when it is paid.
Copy your affiliate number exactly as it appears in your Client Area. A wrong number still records a referral, it simply credits nobody, and there is no error message to warn you. Paste it rather than typing it, and open your own finished link once to check it lands where you expect.
Sharing one of our blog or wiki articles
Our blog and our wiki run on separate software, so they do not pick the parameter up yet. If you are recommending one of those articles, include your referral link to a related plan or to our front page alongside it. Your reader gets the article, and the referral link is what records the referral.
