The data transfers has to be reinitiated at least once an hour, and that is being optimistic. Sometimes the rsync only runs for a few seconds before DC firewall drops the connection. The cut off reason according to DC is DoS inbound. Simply several rsyncs are causing their over zealous anti-dos measures to cut the connections. According to them.
