The data transfers has to be reinitiated at least once an hour, and that is being optimistic.
Sometimes the rsync only runs for a few seconds before DC firewall drops the connection.
DC has not done anything to this so far.
We have now stopped new migrations, and those we are still attempting to transfer data might be cancelled and back to old servers. This situation is completely unacceptable by the new DC.
This isn't the only issue we are having with this DC, there is a myriad of billing and management issues as well. We are hoping that when our own DC is completed migrations out will be fast and effortless.
