Almost all nodes has been restored by now. Only a handfull of trickier ones are remaining, where we are trying to restore data to the very last effort. Some nodes still have some issues due to bug in one of the restoration scripts, but these will be attended to quite soon. For most nodes the restoration went far smoother than expected to. After this we will go through again every single server to ensure they are production quality and production stable.
We've heard your feedback as well, and in general has been very supportive in this time of crisis, if not even very positive at times.
Rest assured, this has been very teaching crisis, just because someone is your very long time friend and you implicitly trust him you should not expect it to be safe to employ and give any degree of access to servers. Our security precautions are actually somewhat stricter than the average IT company, but be assured it shall be greatly more strict in future.
