Please do not block PING in your firewall - without ICMP ECHO replies we cannot determine if your node is up or down, this wasting support staff time when we think a node is down despite it actually being online, taking that time away from actual support requests.
SSDs don't provide anywhere near the performance boost claimed for. Infact, in all our previous tests they eventually work as a brake!
