OpenClaw, the AI agent you can run inside your own seedbox, now starts on the AI credits your services already earn, so there is no provider key to buy. On servers with this week's update you turn it on with one button and open it in your browser already signed in: no SSH, no tunnel, no token to paste.
On 8 October I gave you a word to speak over SSH. Now the panel speaks it for you.
Turning it on
In your panel, open Configure, then Apps, and find OpenClaw under Optional apps. Click Turn on and confirm. The first install took about two minutes in our tests, shorter than most of my songs; the row shows Starting… and then Running. Open takes you to OpenClaw's web interface in a new tab, signed in, and an OpenClaw tab in the panel's top bar brings you back to these buttons. Turn off stops it and keeps it stopped, even after a server reboot, with your settings kept.
If your panel has no OpenClaw row yet
The button reaches each server with its next PMSS update, and some servers have not had it yet. Over SSH, install-openclaw install works on nearly every server today and starts on your credits the same way. If you installed OpenClaw after the 8 October announcement, run install-openclaw install --yes once more after your server has the button, and Open and the tab work for your installation too; your settings stay.
On your credits
A first install uses your AI credits when ~/.virsilipasKey holds your key and is readable only by you. Many accounts already have that file; the guide shows how to add it. To use a model provider of your own instead, run openclaw configure --section model.
Before you turn it on
OpenClaw needs room for about 60,000 more files under your file limit, which on an otherwise empty account means about 120 GB of disk quota, and about 2 GB of your account's memory. quota -s and userShowLimits show both. Installing restarts your account's own web server once, so the panel may not answer for a few seconds. OpenClaw runs commands as your account, so treat access to it like your SSH password.
