Your Pulsed Media account now has its own AI key, and every service invoice you pay adds AI credits to it. If you have an active service and paid for services in the past year, your first credits are already there.
In the first runo of the Kalevala, the singer opens his word-chest and his song-box, the virsilipas, before he sings. Today we open ours. Every account with an active service has a personal key for AI models, and it works from your own scripts, on a seedbox or at home, and from any chat or coding tool that lets you set an API address and key.
Where to find it
In the client area, open AI credits in the top menu. The Virsilipas AI key page shows your key, your credits left, your use over the last 30 days, use per model, and the full credit history with a CSV download: Virsilipas AI key. If your key may have leaked, press Get a new key. The old key stops working at once.
How you earn credits
Every paid service invoice adds credits: currently 2.5 % of what you pay for services, before VAT. M10G S, M, L and XL seedboxes earn 5 %, and Dragon-R Mushu, Toruk, Shenlong and Temeraire earn 15 %. Your account bonus raises that, up to 3x. Credits from all your services go into one balance, they add up, and under the current rules they do not expire. A refund takes back the credits that payment earned.
Credits are not money: they cannot be paid out, and they never appear on an invoice. These are the current rates and they may change. What each plan earns, with worked numbers: Pulsed Media AI Credits.
Already on your balance
Accounts with an active service got an opening grant: 1 % of what they paid for services in the 12 months before launch. It was added today and shows in your credit history as "Opening grant". Nothing to claim, nothing to switch on.
Using your key
The API address is https://virsilipas.mcx.fi/v1 and it speaks the common chat-completions format, so a library or tool that lets you set its API address and key can use it. Pick a model by name: default is fast and the cheapest, large is stronger for harder tasks, alt and alt-large are a second pair with a different style, the -think and -instant variants choose whether the model thinks first, and the nolimits models refuse less. GET /v1/models lists every name with its price and the model it uses. Each answer tells you what it cost.

Keep secrets out of prompts
Your requests go to outside AI providers. We cannot audit what they keep, so leave passwords, keys and personal data out of what you send.
