Good news: the credit on your account now grows your free bonus disk, and so does helping us build our software, once we recognise it. Every €300 of credit adds 1% to the bonus each of your services earns, up to +20%.
What is new
Account credit. +1% for every €300 of credit on your account, up to +20%: €600 adds 2%, and €6,000 reaches the ceiling. It counts while the credit sits there. As invoices use the credit, that part of your earned figure shrinks again.
Contributions. When we recognise a customer's contribution to our software with account credit, that recognition now also adds bonus disk, up to +20%. This part stays: spending the credit does not take it away. A thank-you that lands in your storage as well as your balance.
What changed
The spend step is now €75 per 1%, a rounder step up from €62.50. It last moved in September 2022, from €50.
Extra active services still add 2.5% each, now up to +25% (ten extra services). Each additional distinct product still adds 5%, now up to +15% (three extra products). Neither term had a ceiling before, and on accounts with many services the two had become most of the bonus. The caps keep the bonus balanced, so tenure, payments and contribution carry it rather than service count alone.
What stays the same
Bonus already applied to a running service is not reduced. Ongoing maintenance only ever adds disk. The earned percentage on your service page now uses the new formula, so on some accounts it reads lower than the disk you already have. A new service, or a move to a new server, is set up with the bonus your account earns under the new formula.
Tenure, referrals, past services, refunds, card fees and the 300% cap work as before.
