2011, EG09 BestOf: Deliveries delayed
Our upstream provider is having supply woes. They are late with new hardware badly now, which translated to the fact that 2011 and EG09 BestOf deliveries are delayed!
2011 sales has been magnificent and even more hardware is needed, and we are now looking beyond the current portfolio of providers to get servers. One such is our US Based servers, where we could have redundancy.
Because new hardware is not arriving on time, we cannot finish CSB plans migration to free up the EG09s, their delivery to new owners is as well delayed. Sucks, i know.
Possibility of US Based 2011
If you have interest in 2011 service at US, please open a ticket and we will weight in the options.
The plus side at US servers would be: Redundant storage, less users per HDD. The downsides are: Network maxes out generally at around 40-50M/s, single thread network performance is not that great.
CSB Plan migrations
We will be moving users between the EG09s to free up some of the servers, this is a temporary move to consolidate some of the servers, and get them free'd up quicker.
