We have enacted CPU Usage limits, CPU prioritization and I/O Priotizations on kernel level accross the whole fleet today. It is spreading to users now.

This solves a lot of resource contention issues people have experrienced over the years. Seedboxes are especially notorious about resource contention, and have always been. This does part of the job of making sure users get a fair share of resources, and opens direct path that upgrade is guaranteed to give you an performance upgrade of same magnitude.

Overall service quality experience is expected to rise dramatically as this settles in. Some people will need to upgrade, while others can be relieved they will not abuse the service or neighbors by even the heaviest of activities (ie. streaming, transcoding etc.).

Pulsed Media has always been industry leader on resource management on per user basis, the only seedbox provider with RAID arrays to give you more Oomph than any other seedbox at same storage medium, controlling resource over consumption with variety of methods, optimizing not for single user, but all users on the server the settings. Still, there is always the server which happens to get several heavy users and have resource contention, or abusive users (storage box used as seedbox OR buying the cheapest, then hammering CPU 100% with cryptominer).

Open a ticket if you have questions of this. We will consider all feedback.
This has already rolled out to approximately 500 users today.
