Some of you may not realize this, but there is a internal network at Espoo to which all the nodes are connected to.
This network is made with fast 10Gbps switches, and all client nodes connect to it via 1Gbps.
You may utilize this internal network to transfer data from node to node without compromising public internet speeds, for example to have a separate database server and separate web fronted server.
This network has very little congestion, and thus speeds will be great. All links operate within the internal network at less than 20% average usage.
To use the internal network for your data transfers, just check with ifconfig what interfaces there is, the one beginning with 10. is your internal network IP. This is quite likely to remain same between reboots as well.
