All vnodes should feel a performance increase today since storage got upgraded by additional array of disks. We are setting up another array of disks tomorrow, and hopefully during weekend several more.
All vnodes will be migrated to the new arrays to vacate the current one so we can vacate the 3Tb disks from it, and do a nicely performing array from them.
Most initial arrays *will* get SSD caching backup, later on we will add SSD cache on a *as needed* basis.
We are working to build a sustainable solution for the future, and working to build a cluster of storage servers, which we initially build out, before building up, this means we will keep adding storage cluster nodes with minimal disks initially, before starting to upgrade them to bigger machines.
