Tested system configs are Atom N2800, 4G ram and AMD E350, 8G Ram.
Both system show full bandwidth utilization, and the AMD one also heavy inbound traffic.
despite these, the GUI has *never* been this fast. I've never seen the filemanager load up so fast, nor never seen ruTorrent load up so fast. It's insane!
Tomorrow is some fine-tuning work to be done and some broader changes as well, from istgt to iet and getting the only performance drawback fixed: Latency. Sometimes there is high latency on system which is not utilized, on data which is not utilized. Intent is to fix this, trying out different disk schedulers etc.
Plus, using IET BlockIO mode should enhance things further as well.
Disk array is working fast as well, we are seeing very nice speeds with barely any load what so ever on the array, the SSD caches sit also mostly idle writing up new cache data -> Cache is never really getting warmed up yet either!
Let's hope as production goes forward and we start our work on the storage cluster things look this good!
