Unexpected negative effects

During restoration many of the systems get updated for newer kernel, or basicly whole OS gets updated to newer than what we have tested.

This causes that quota is even more prone to breaking down on some of the restored nodes, breaking down everytime there is a new user added or removed, causing need for constant quota repairs.

If you are experiencing quota issues this might be happening on your node too.

We will release next week a update for PMSS which will recompile quota from newer sources, which ought to fix this issue. Till then quota will be constantly breaking down on some nodes. Do not worry about this if you have reoccurring quota breakdown, you can however open a ticket notifying us that your node is one of those with reoccurring issues.

Restoration status

Only a little over dozen nodes needs to be restored anymore, some of these are already half way there.

Some of these nodes are extremely tricky to restore, but we are still hoping for full recovery within the next 24hrs.

After complete restoration we will start going through every single node verifying they are up & operational. Just a quick check, so we might not catch everything. If you having issues with your node after Saturday, please do not hesitate to e-mail support@pulsedmedia.com so we can fix that.

It's been a very long uphill battle to restore all the nodes affected but we are almost there.
