PMSS New release 25th of Aug
We released an update which adresses several issues and adds several new features, check out the full changelog.
Most important changes are:
- Basic work for remote API done
- Some redundancy timers increased slightly to make certain some actions have completed
- Stops trying to install vnstat if it's installed already
- Lighttpd idempotent configurator finished and taken into production
- terminateUser is feature complete with lighttpd reconfig now and easier automation support
- Installer simplified, restructured. Easier & faster installs.
- Browsing to server URL now results in redirect to pulsedmedia.com
PMSS2 Integrates to PMSS?
We have begun work to integrate PMSS2 features in to PMSS, meaning there will be no new major release, but it's all part of continuous integration. Some features will not work on Debian 5 based systems probably, we will see if we can compile these from source along with custom kernel so we can roll these features into Debian 5 nodes as well.
We are now nearing testing stage to add some really cool features, but those features are behind on the scenes, so no visual updates just yet. Tim has been hard on work to make these features and now integrating them on the PMSS system.
We are making PMSS even more advanced than ever before, and will begin to support resellers way better. If you got feedback about PMSS, don't hesitate to open a ticket and let us know about it! :)
