Choosing your Country, and VAT
There has been a surge in "VAT cheats" again, we just corrected several accounts.
Choosing another country than your real country is not guaranteed to help you much, as we do check these. Not every account gets a fine degree combing through, but sufficient to say that our "Tax cheaters" ratio is very minimal.
If we notice this, we add a correction fee of 3€, the VAT, and mark *all invoices* unpaid, and roll back service due date as much, sending reminder of all invoices which remain open. We also add that correction fee for every invoice. Generally this is just 1 invoice as we usually catch these straight away.
The harm it does!
It harms everyone, it harms us, it harms you, it harms other customers. How does it harm?
We have to comb through accounts, which raises costs.
You will incurr extra charges, and potentially account and service termination effective immediately without a recourse in worst cases (those who redo it over and over).
We have to raise prices, so everyone has to pay more, due to the added workload.
If we do not do spot checks, and do our best to stop this behavior -> You are exposing us to be liable for Tax fraud and Tax evasion charges.
Alternative is to include VAT in the sum, and charge VAT from everyone, try to explain this to your Australian or US friend that how you wanted to skim 2€ all your outside EU friends have to now pay few euros more. You wouldn't want that, now would you? ;) Fortunately, that's the ultimate last resort, tho some of our competitors have resorted to that.
We do not want to do things like that. All we ask that people respect their own country's tax laws, they have made a mutual agreement with other VAT region countries that residents in that region should be charged VAT.
CC Chargebacks
Needless to say, it's immediate, swift, account termination and service termination. Don't do it, ever.

Erroneous extra payments are also automatically and immediately added as credit which you may use as you please in future. Even if you double pay one invoice, you are not double paying in the long run!
So, please, please, show us the same respect and courtesy as we do for you, don't go behind our back and make a CC chargeback or dispute. That's expensive process, and actually hurts your credit score. Yes, that is right. They write down every single chargeback claim, and that is a negative mark when you are applying for that mortgage, car loan or credit limit raise!
