Will increasing upload slots/peers increase my speed?

Most often quite the contrary, because server HDDs will get saturated with random read access. Usually quite low peers & upload slots quantity achieves maximal speeds. Increasing those, above seemingly low limit, will result in speed & performance degradation infact.

A total upload slots of about 25-50 per HDD seems to be the best generally speaking. Peer counts doesn't affect that many, you generally want to keep this about 20-50% higher than upload slots.
